The worst experience ever! I was super excited to finally see a woman of color but I ended up extremely disappointed. She was cold, dismissive, with poor bedside manner. She pulled my IUD out while performing the Pap smear! She was very unapologetic and simply stated “that’s never happened before”. She has no resolution UNTIL I asked for one. She then said she’ll send oral contraceptives to my pharmacy. She then walked out the room and I could hear her laughing in the hall with the CNA. I got dressed and waited for her to return with paperwork, or even follow up such as “with the dislodged device expect heavy bleeding, etc”. She never returned! I had to message her office every day for a week to document in my chart what she did! Of course she documented that the IUD was out of place which is why it came out so easy. I’ve had it for YEARS and no pregnancy scares. Not to mention I was a new patient and she did NOT inquire one bit about my past medical history. Please don’t see this provider, she’s terrible and needs to hang up the white coat because she’s terrible at making patients “feel better”.

This was my first visit with Dr. Anderson. She was nice and explained everything I had questions about. The office was clean and nicely organized. The wait time wasn't very long either. They were able to get me an appointment as a new patient within 2 weeks whereas my now previous doctor's office had me waiting a month and a half even though I explained some concerns I was having. I am looking forward to continuing my care with Dr. Anderson.

Apparently Dr. Anderson closed down her practice in Martinsburg, WV without even informing her patients. I called in February 2025 to schedule my yearly exam and got a voice message that the office will be closed as of a certain date. I called the following week again and got the message that the office was closed. She could have at minimum send out communications to her patients before moving. I stayed with Dr. Anderson for about 6 years because I wanted a black female doctor and she was the only one in the area. She was always distant, not personable at all, but I dealt with it as I thought I was not too concerned about friendliness though that counts for an OB/GYN. I hope she is better with her patients wherever she went. I got a brand new GYN doctor in Frederick, MD and I love it.

First time impressions, the office was lovely. Loved all the plants in the waiting room. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room at all. I was there for a yearly routine exam, and I felt Dr. Anderson was thorough. My only complaint was that she was not very personable. She didn’t even introduce herself to me. Thank goodness this wasn’t my first time getting a Pap smear because she did little to make me feel comfortable. She did not try to get to know me, absolutely zero conversation or small talk. I feel like since I was a new patient that maybe she would try to get to know me a little? She Completely ignored my 9 year old daughter who was with me as well. I wanted my daughter to see what OBYGN visits were like so when it’s time for hers in the future she will have an idea of what’s to come, so I was a little disappointed with that aspect of the visit. But since the doctor seems professional and the fact that the office is very convenient to my work/home I will give it another try!

This was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The doctor never introduced herself to me and until she came into the room for the exam I assumed she was the front desk assistant. As a new patient she did not ask me a single question regarding my previous history. I did not see her wash her hands prior to or after my exam was over. The exam was about 2 minutes and she said “all looks good, see you in a year”. I was charged $200 for this appointment where she did absolutely nothing. I have called multiple times to address my concerns and cannot get ahold of her. I feel as though I have been scammed and will now need to go pay additional money to get a legitimate exam performed.

Finding a new dr after being unhappy with my previous one and let me say I am happy I went. Dr.Anderson was very gentle and explained everything because I was very nervous and had many concerns. I worried about health issues with a previous surgery and she immediately set up appointments for all testing needed- even ultrasounds within two weeks!!!- . She didn’t make me wait forever for appointments and made sure to tell me reach out if I needed it. Recommending to family and friends

Dr. Anderson is a phenomenal Doctor! I have been seeing her for years for my yearly appointments, and female issues that come up. Not only does she have incredible communication she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re seen quickly and that she answers any questions you may have. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my health! I recently started taking my teenage daughter to her too.Thanks for all you do!

First impressions, the office environment was nice and the receptionist was friendly. I was very happy to get an appointment for an annual exam as a new patient within 2 weeks whereas my current OB had a 4 month wait. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen and I did not even know the woman taking me back into the room was Dr Anderson until she began examining me. I thought she was a nurse! She was completely cold and flat, never introduced herself to me or spoke more than a couple sentences the whole visit (which was maybe 10 minutes tops). Never asked me any questions about my medical history except if I do monthly breast exams. She barely touched or felt around on me, I don’t know how good of an exam that actually was. The part that really bothered me was as I was lying on the table for the Pap, she pulled a plastic speculum straight out of the drawer, rinsed it in the sink and put it in me! Now I am anxious if it was even properly sterile! No nurse was present in the room during the exam, which I found weird, any other GYN appt I have ever been to they always have two people present in the room. As I was leaving I caught her in the hallway to ask if she would manage a pregnancy as I was considering one more and she said no. What a waste, I should have just stuck it out and waited for my regular office. I was hoping to find a smaller, more personal, caring office for my ob/gyn needs and was completely disappointed. It was a bad experience and I was so bothered by the whole thing I cried when I got home. I don’t know if Dr. Anderson is going through something personal or is experiencing burn out, but after reading similar experiences from others on here, I won’t come back.
